Feraud v Kenny—Withdrawn. L. A. Norman v Begg-Claim £55 and £2O as cousi quenlial damages for the wrongful conversion of a pianoforte. Hie contention of defendant was that the piano was sold on the time-payment system, and that in the interest of the, sellers, and for whom he was acting as agent be had aitei getting it into his possession retained it.
Judgment for £55, the value of the piano, to be reduced to Is on piano being banned to plaintiff in like good order and condition within two days, and damages 2js, with costs £5 3s. WARDEN’S COURT.
William Jamieson, application lo purchase 50 acres of land on West Bmk of Molyneux, about two mi'es below Clyde, under Section GG of the Mines’ Act. Objected to by a large number of miners on the ground that the land is auriferous, aim that the occupation of the land would give applicant a monopoly of the river frontage etc.
The Warden decided before he made any ■recommendation to vUit the ground.
