INTERCOLONIAL.
The Orient steamship Garonne has arrived at Melbourne and been quarantined. She has 43 passengers for New Zealand ports. It is uncertain whether she will remain in Melbourne or go on to Sydney. The passengers by the s.s. Garonne, to the number of 300, have been quarantined in Melbourne. It is believed that a fresh case of smallpox has broken out, but the symptoms of the passenger who is sickening are considered doubtful.
