Mining Notice, TO THE WARDEN AT BLACKS. NDER the provisions of Section 93 of the Mines Act, 1877, we hereby make application for a special claim of 30 acres, being a strip of land CO chains long by 5 chains wide, as pegged out by us, running along the south-east base of the hill from Blacks No. 3, and passing through Blacks No. 2, being over what is known as the Deep Lead. And we apply under circumstances involving the expenditure of considerable sums of money, the lead being nearly 200 feet deep, and requiring substantial shafts •long tunnels, much timber, and regular provision for getting rid of water.
