Though there is so great a scare over the insignificantly few cases of small-pox that have broken out in Sydney—onr sapient, wise and considerate Government even going the length of proclaiming Sydney an infected port, and quarantining all vessels from there for 12 days—they persistently neglect to supply public vaccinators with vaccine lymph. From more than one quarter wo learn that from the Colonial Secretary down no one knows where lymph can be obtained. Wo think in this matter, it (hero is really anything to fear from the dreadful disease, that this matter should be seen to, and that without delay. We, however, hold the same views as docs onr contemporary the Daily Times, that it is somewhat absurd to make a great outcry alxmt a case or two of smallpox in the Colonies, while smallpox is always present in Loudon, where there is a smallpox hospital.
