Meeting, Etc.
DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL. The usual monthly meeting of the Com* mittee of Management was hold in the committee room, Town Hall, on Monday the 13th instant, at 8 p.m. —Present—Messrs J. E. Stevens (in the chair), Attfiold, Beck, Clark, Cambridge, Holt, Oliver, Sims, and G. Pache (Secretary). The minutes of the previous monthly meeting were read and confirmed. The Visiting Committee verbally reported that everything was working satisfactorily In the Hospital. The Visiting Committee’s No. 2 report, recommending payment of accounts for salaries aud supplies, etc., for the month of April, amounting to L3G 3s 2d, and for May, L 35 11s lOd, wore adopted. The Treasurer said ho had no report prepared. The Surgeon’s report, showing, during the past two months, nine patients had been treated, of whom six had been discharged, and throe remained in the Hospital on the 31st May, was read and received. The Secretary said he had not, as yet, received any applications for the offices of wardsman and matron. Resolved -That advertisements be inserted in the Daily Times and Evening Star calling for applications. Mr C. Atttield was elected member of the Visiting Committee, viceJ. E. Stevens retiring. The meeting then adjourned.
