INTERCOLONIAL.

The Marquis de Rav’s immigrants have arrived at Sydney from Noumea. Elias Laycock, oarsman, arrived at Sydney on the Bth instant per the steamer Lusitania from England. He was accorded a warm reception, great crowds awaiting him on the arrival of the steamer. A Melbourne telegram of the 9th instant states that a bag containing 1000 sovereigns is missing from the Commercial Bank of Australia . The affair is involved in mystery, but the evidence so far would indicate that it has been stolen. The Marquis of Normandy is daily improving in health, and is making satisfactory progress towards recovery.
