Arrow, April 7. The Homeward Bound mine has just washed np. A cake of 2350z was obtained from 334 tons of quartz. Lonpon, April Ist. Lord Beaconsfield’s health is slightly improved. Intelligence received, states that conflicts have occurred on the Tunisian frontier over the disputed right ’of an English subject—Mr Joseph Levy to an estate at Rufida. Tho matter has caused diplomatic difficulty between England and France, and it i* feared fresh complications may arise. Telegrams to-day from Franco announce that active and military preparations are being made in France, and the Press of that country are discussing the difficulty in very excited terns.
