Tho customary Monthly Mooting of the Committee of Management was hell in the Committee-room, Town Hall, (Clyde on Monday evening last, the 17tli instant, at 8 p.m. Present!—B. Naylor, Esq., (Vice President) C, Attfield, J. Holt, J. R. Stevens, (treasurer) and G Fache (Secretary). Tho minutes of the previous meeting were read aud confirmed. The inward correspondence, including letters—lst—From the Govornmeitt, rc quarterly statements ; 2nd—ln reference to the proposal hy the Court Star of the Dunstan A.O.F. togive to the Hospital as a subscription the Lodge medical fe# ; 3rd —From Messrs Murphy (Brothers) Tinker’s gully, covering their annual subscription of three guineas ; and others of no public importance were read ami received. The outward correspondence, being a reply to the first letter from tho Governmerit, giving a full explanation ofquarterly repoits, was read and adopted. .Resolved —That the Secretary write in reply to the second letter from the Government to the (fT-'ct that the Committee onreadingover the “Friendly Societies’Act 1 ' were of the opinion that the proposed course Was legitimate. The Visiting Committee’s No. 2 repor f , recommending the payment of accounts for the pas k month, amounting to L 42 12s 7d was adopted. The Treasurer’s report, as follows, was adopted Receipts.
