DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.

The usual monthly meeting was bold in the Committee Room, Town Hall, on Monday last, the 6th inst., at 8 p.m. Present-V. Pyke. Esq. (President), B. Naylor (Vice President), and Messrs C. Attfiehl. J. Holt, E. J. Wilson, G Clark, J. E. Stevens (Treasurer), and G. Faohe (Secretary). The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Inward correspondence—Prom Alexandra Brass Band, proffering their services at concerts atClydeand Alexandra, and asking Committee tofixdates; from A. Brown, offering to purchase a piece of lead pipe ; from Mr Dundas, containing cheque in payment of dues for medical attendance to his son. Resolved—That Messrs Clark and the Secretary he appointed a Suh-Commiltee to arrange dates, &c,, of concerts at Alexandra and Clyde. Resolved—That tho offer of Mr Brown be accepted. Resolved - That the cheque he received as payment in full of all demands. The Visiting Committee recommended the purchase of six pairs of new blankets. Agreed to. Visiting Committee’s No. 2 Report, recommending payment of accounts for October, amounting to L4O 16s 81, ami for November, 1.34 14s 3d, was read and received. Resolved—That the offer of the Lodge Dunstan, A,O P , be accepted with thanks. Resolved—That a sum equal to that received from the Lodge Dunstan, A.O.E, be paid to the Resident Surgeon as an iucrease of salary. The following gentlemen, by consent, were nominated as collectors :--V. Pyke (President) and C. Attfiehl to canvass Clyde ; Messrs Holt and G, Fache (Secretary-) the Dunstan Commonage. Mr F J. Wilson proffered bis services, m connectiou with Mr Fache, to canvass Biacks. The Secretary was instructed to furnish subscription lists to all the station holders and the other principal residents of the district. Tho meeting then adjourned.
