His stock have taken first prizes at the Blneskin Annual Show in 1873, 1574, and 1875, against all comers. A one-year-old filly by him took first prize at Palmerston, in 187G, He is a splendid worker and a sure foal-getter. Terms- £3 los, to include gronmage. Guarantees by agreement. One mare out of five allowed gratis, being the property of one owner. All marcs sold or exchanged will ho held as in foal. Young Reformer, by Emperor, was bted by the late Mr Donald Grant, Kirkland ; Jam, Geut'e, by Champion ; Champion, bred by Mr Anderson, Dmmorc, Wigtonshire, Scotland. Champion, when a yearling, glined two first prizes ; as a two-year-old, tour fi.st and two second prizes ; when a three-year old, a premium of -U) sovereigns at Glasgow ; when four years old, a premium of 50 sovereigns given by the Kirkcudbright Agricultural Society ; and when five years old get £4O premium at Glasgow ; ho also got a silver medal for the live best yearlings got by any horse in 1859. Also a number of first prizes in Australia, and first prize at the Taieri, the only year he was shown. Gentle, dam Betty, was bred by Captain Gardner, Daudenong, Victoria ;* sire, the imported Clydesdale horse Reformer ; dam, Biss, imported by Captain Gardner. Betty gained first prize as a one year-old in Melbourne in 1854 ; second as' a two-year-old, in 1855 ; and first as a three-year old, iii 1856-all in Melbourne. Young Reformer is a brown horse, IGJ hands high, rising five years old. Terms— £3 10s; Groom’s fc", ss, payable at first service.
