THE TEMORA GOLDFIELD.
The following information ia contained in a I*l ivate letter from a visitor at Temora to a friend in Sydney :—“ We left Sydney on Thursday night, and arrived hero per coach on Friday afternoon, and if there is not something fresh struck soon I will return, for there ia no chance at present There is a good deal of sinking going on, hut all bottoming duffers. There has been no rain to leave water. They are now bringing water seven rnilea. I would not advise any one to come here until rain comes. There are some good claims here. There is only one lead found at present ; it is traced about two miles. It is a chain of patches. There is little or no business done in shares. We have been pegging out claims every day since we came, but soon got dnffered nut. I believe there have been about 500 left here the last two days. There is a line Town built here; Business of all kinds is overdone. I think when raiu comes there will bo a little
