BRITISH AND FOREIGN. (From Exchanges.) London - , October 11th. Adelaide wheat has advanced two shillingper quarter. October 12 th. A note hjs been received from the Porte announcing its intention to cede Dulcigno to Montenegro, and hopes that this step will prevent any further display on the part of the combined fleet, and that it will be at ones abondoned. Octohei 13 th. Information has been received that the American Government are meditating to prevent the further resumption of hostilities between Chili and Pern. The latest news from Persia states that the Kurds have destroyed 170 villages, and are now retiring to the mountains with their booty. _ October 14th, The Government is taking active measures for the purpose of prosecuting leaders of Irish leagues. Troops are being sent to the west coast of Ireland.

The Czar of Russia is indisposed, but his physicians report that his illness is not of a serious nature.

Arrangements have been made for a match between Laycock and Hosuior, of Boston, on 2nd November..

Severe floods have occurred in Scotland. Midlothian and the midland counties wore chiefly visited, and considerable damage was done to agricultural produce, farms, buildings, and works, Teheran, October 14th.
