To-morrow we hope to see a large attendance at the Gift Auction and Bazaar to bo held in the Town Hall, Clyde, in aid of the Church of England funds. The Committee, so far, have been most liberally' supported by donors, and it is to be hoped an cipi d response will be made by visitors. Several ladies and gentlemenhavekbully consente 1, during the afternoon and evening, to give some instrumental and vocal music, which should be a great attraction. A Committee of ladies have also arranged to provide the necessaries and to attend to refreshment tables, and if the savoury smells that .have for the past few days assailed our olfactory organ be niv evidence of good things, such a feast will bo provided as should satisfy epicurean taste. Amongst the articles that will be submitted to sale are sowing machines, live sheep, tons of coals and binocular glasses, ladies dresses and boxes of tea, pictures and poultry, children’s garments and walkings sticks, fancy wool and crochet work and bags of potatoes, and, as the auctioneer would say, other articles too numerous to particularize.
