THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS AT HOME.

London, June 14th. The Australian Cricketers commenced a match at Belfast to-day against Eighteen of the North of Ireland. The weather w'as fine. The Home team went in first, and scored 100. Spofforth and Palmer both bowled splendidly, the former taking ten and the latter six wdekets. Tho Australians made 102 runs in their first innings. The Home team in their second innings were disposed of for 130 runs. In the second innings of the Australians Murdoch was caught after scoring 72, and Bannervvas not out, 45 runs, the Australians thus winning the match by nine wickets. London, June 18th.

The match between the Australians and the Dublin University team, at Dublin was commenced to-day. They played against 18 of the latter. Great interest is being taken in the various matches. The Colonial team went in first, and were all out for 220 runs. Slight was not out for 53 runs. Tho Horae team in their first innings were all disposed of for 9S [? 19S] runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and made 132 runs for the loss of nix wickets. Bannerman was caught after making 09 runs. The innings closed for 156 runs. The Dublin team then went in, and when the stumps were drawn they had lost seven wickets for 80. The match was therefore drawn, but in favor of the Australians.

London, June 21st.

The match between tho Australians snd Eighteen of Birmingham was commenced to-day at Aston Park. The Australians went in first and were all out for 179 runs. M‘Donnell,was out leg-before wicket after scoring 39.
