DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.
The usual monthly meeting of the Committee was held in the Town Hall Chamber on Monday evening last, the 7th inst. Present—Messrs B. Naylor (Vice-Presi-dent, iu the chair), Wilson, Holt, Auckland, Attfield, Clark, Beck, Stevens (Treasurer), and Faehe (Secretary). The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed
The correspondence was read and received, and included the resignation of Mr Auckland as a member of the Visiting Committee.
Resolved—That the resignation of Mr Auckland be accepted.
Resolved—That a vote of thanks bo re' corded to Mr Auckland for his past ser. vices during his long term of office.
Mr Auckland returned thanks for the kind expression of opinion. The Vice-President said that his departure would be regretted, as he had proved himself a very energetic member of the Committee.
The Visiting Committee’s No. 1 Report was read, and showed that having visited the Institution they found no cause for complaint.
The Visiting Committee’s No. 2 Report, recommending payment of accounts amounting to L 57 ICs Sd, for salaries and supplies for the past month, was read and received. The Treasurer’s Report, as follows, showing a debit balance of L7B Os 4J, was read and received : RECEIPTS. The Visiting Committee were instructed to procure a requisite supply of bedding.
Mr G. Clark was re-elected a member of the Visiting Committee. Resolved—That a meeting of the subscribers be called for the 2Gth June, for the purpose of electing a member of the Committee, vice Mr Auckland, resigned. The meeting then terminated.
