THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS AT HOME.

London, June Ist.

The match between the Australians and IS of the gentlemen players of Keighley, Yorkshire, was commenced to day. The Home team went in first, and were disposed of for 102 runs. The first innings of the Australians terminated for 98 runs. In the second innings of the Home team they were disposed of for 51 runs, Boyle having taken 12 wickets. The Australians in their second innings lost two wickets for 32 runs, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had only to make 25 runs, with 8 wickets to tall. The match was drawn, but was greatly in favor of the Australians.

(Murdoch has superseded Boyle as Cap tain of the Australians).

London, June 4th.

The match between the Australians and 18 of Burnley, in Lancashire resulted in a victory for the former in one innings, with 27 runs to spare. In the second innings of the Burnley men Spofforth took twelve wickets in fifteen overs.

London, Juno 7th,

The cricket match, Australians v. Eighteen of Malton, was commenced today. The Home team went in first, and scored 45. The Australians then went to the wickets, and all were disposed of for S3 runs. When the stumps were drawn for the day, the eighteen had lost two wickets in their second innings without scoring. The wicket was very bad, and prevented good batting.
