WASTE LANDS BOARD.
At the meeting of the above Board held on Wednesday the 31st ultimo, the following business of local interest was transacted :
The followihg applications for deferredpayment leases were granted Andrew Young, section 3, block HI, Teviot ; John Dundas, section 21, block V, Tiger Hill The application of M ‘lndoe and another, to purchase sections 17 and 18, block V, Tiger Hill, was granted. Mr Peter Harrington, for self and others, requested that Benjamin Charles be appointed a Ran ;er for the Spottis Hundred for the year 1880. —Granted.
Mr Charles Colclough, on behalf of Henry Searle, asked to be allowed to pay balance on section 1, block XXXVI, Cromwell, purchased in 1876,.0r to be allowed valuation on land when offered at auction. The
I listrict Laml Officer wrote enclosing valuation of improvements. It was resolved‘‘That the section be offered with valuation to the amount of L4O for building ; the Governor’s approval to be obtained. The following applications to purchase under deferred-payment payment leases were granted W. P. Westcoat, sections 21, 22, and 27, block I, Benger district ; Angus M'Phail, section 29, block 1, Benger district.
