A meeting of the stewards of the late Clyde spring meeting was held in the Committee room, Town Hall, on Tuesday evening last when the Treasurer’s report shewing a credit balance of some Ll2 odd was laid on the table and received. There being but a very small attendance, it was decided that a meeting of members of the Club be held in the same place on Saturday evening next the Bth instant, to consider the financial position of the club, and discuss its affairs generally. The subject to be considered will be the selection of a new race course, and the pititioning of the Governmet for the same in lieu of the present course which is destroyed by the Railway line running through the centre of it.
