The Dunstan Times.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 1879.
Benea'h the rule of men entirely just th pen is mightier than the sword.
The nft-nal meeting of the Hospital Com mittee to have been held on Monday evenins; last lapsed for want of a quorum Messrs B. Saylor (President). Cambridge, J. E. Stevens, (Treasurer), and Cr. Fache, (Secretary), who were in attendance waited until half-past eight o’clock, when the meeting was declared lapsed. Scarcely had some of these gentlemen left the room, than three other members nregeated them, selves and were somewhat chagrined at there being no awettng, The ipetom that
committee men as a rule are falling into of keeping their own time, anti thus seriously inconvenienceing those who keep to proper time, is so bail ami is becoming so very general that we deem the present a favorable opportunity of referring to it with the hope that it may have its due effect. Generally speaking it is no more trouble to keep an appointment to the time, than to be half au Lour late, the evil attacks iu a greater degree the convenor and officers, who have of a necessity to be in attendance before the hour, and out of consideration for them, a greater punctuality should be observed.
