DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.
- o The usual monthly' meeting of the Committee of the Dunstan District Hospital was belli in the Council Chambers on Monday evening last the 13rh instant. Present :-B. Naylor. Esq., (President) W. L. Simpson, Esq., (Vice President) a d Messrs Beck, Holt, - Cambridge, Atllield, Auckland, and G. Fache, (Secretary). The minutes of the previous meeting were road and continued. A letter from Mr A. Oliver was read and received. Mr Holt said, ho had been asked to give an estimate of cose for putting race in repair : he now said he would repair it, for 1 for the use of it for 2Jyears, (he estimated r the cost of repairs at 1.3)) or he would give | the Committee L4O for the race, and their I right to the water, and also, that he would continue to supply the Hospital with water for 3 years at tire rate of ss. per week. The Secretary was instructed to inform Mr Oliver that the. Committee, in face of a 1 better offer, decline to accent of his offer. | Resolved : -That thcofferof Mr Holt (hy his consent) remain open for one month. 1 The Visiting Committee’s No. 1 Report, was rear) and received. The Visiting Committee’s No. 2 Report, 1 recommending the payment of accounts, for j salaries and supplies for the past month, amounting to 1.45 15s 4J I, was read and received. The Surgeon’s report as follows, was read and received. In Hosoitnl first of month 4 Admitted during month 1 Mr Cambridge reported that the con. tractors were pushing ahead with the building, and expected to complete it during the coming week. The meeting closed with the usual vote of thauks to the Chair.
