Dunedin, January 16th. By cablegram receive 1 in town last night news arrived of the loss of the barque Soheuhalion, from Auck'and to London, oft the Isle of Wight. No particulars arrived. MatanraElcction—Shanks, 287 ; Kinro ; s, 219. One return to come in, but it will increase Shanks’ majority. The cricket match Canterbury v.
