The Australian Eleven played against an American Eighteen, their first innings closing for 70. The first innings of the 'Americans close 1 for 03. The second innings of the New York Eighteen closed for 93 runs. The game was won by the Australians Philadelphia, October 5. The Australians are playing here to day against an Eleven of rhe Gormanton Chib. The first innings of the Philadelph ens closed for 195, and that of the Australia; s for 150. Philadelphia made only 53 in tl ei second innings : and when the stumps ave-e drawn, Australia had lost five wickets for 56 runs. The mat ch was therefore drawn.
