I HEREBY apply for a lease of land for Agricultural purposes, •and being that piece of land in Block 1., Tiger Hill, between Jones Application and Section 2, and comprising ten acres or thereabouts, in accordance with the A gricultural Leases Regulations made under “Tire Mines Act, 1-877“ FRANCIS LEE, Tiger Hill. The above Application will bo beard at Clyde, on the 17 ;h day of October, 1878, To the Mining Registrar at 'Clyde, of the Otago Goldmining District, and all other persons whom itmay concern. TAKE -NOTICE that it is intended to construct a reservoir for storing water, and a water race from said reservoir, to divert water therefrom. The situation of said reservoir is on Crown Lands on Run No. 369, about 300 yards to the west of Section Block 1., Cairn Hill District The length of the dam will be about 50 yards ; its height, 20 feet; and breadth, at least 40 feet; and will have a bye-wash; and the reservoir will be 2 acres. The water race will commence at the dam bank, and will be carried through Crown Lands, and terminate on Section Block 1., Cairn Hill District. The length of the race will be about -quarter of a mile, and will be of a depth of 18 inches by a breadth of 2 feet, and it is purposed to divert and -carry one head of water therein.
