To the Mining Registrar at Clyde, of the Otago Goldfields District, find all other Persons -whom it may concern, TAKE NOTICE that it is intended to construct a Water Race, and divert water for ir ining and irrigation purposes, from the head waters of Chatto Creek, known as Morresay’s Sheepshead and Coal Creek, at the point where old Golden Gate used to divert water, and terminating at Section 33, Block 1., Tiger Hill. Width. 3 feet; depth, 1 foot. Propose to divert 4 sluice heads of water. Two months required for construction. The course of Race will follow that of the old Golden Gate and Suspension Races, particularly through Block 1., Tiger Hill. Dated this 4th day of July, 1878. JOHN COLE CHAPPLE.
