COUNTY TOWN.
—o— We have been handed over tho following telegrams for publication. Commeut is unnecessary -they fully explain themselves.— Cromwell, July 16. To James Hazlett, Esq. ‘ Colclongh says that it is reported in Cromwell that I voted for Clyde as County Town, because I was in debt to yon, and. that you threatened to make me an insolvent if I voted for Cromwell.—ls this true ? Did I owe yon anything ? Vincent Fyke. ■ • - Diinedra, July 16. To Vincent Fyke, Esq. Report utterly without foundation, and like some of Colclough’s imaginations. I am prepared to make a declaration that you did not owe me one shilling at the time ; even, had such been the case, I would not have insulted you by dictating to you how you should vote on the question of the County Town or any other question. James Hazlett.
