o The usual monthly meeting of the above Institution was held in the Library Hall, on Monday evening last, the 4th instant. Present—B. Naylor, Esq. (President), and Messrs Cambridge, Holt, Rev. J. Dewe, J. E, Stevens (Treasurer), and G. Facbe (Secretary.) The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Tiie correspondence, inward and outward, was read, received, and adopted. A lengthened discussion took place on t he general internal management of tho Institution, resulting in a resolution, That the Visiting Committee do visit the Institution for a thorough inspection. Tenders for tho ensuing six months were now opened, and tho following accepted : Messrs Finlay and Morris, groceries, wines, kc. ; Messrs Attfield and Welsford, meat; T. H. Bell, bread ;C. Holden, coals. Resolved—That the Secretary lay on the table at the next meeting of the Committee a list of subscribers and the dates on which their subscriptions become due. Resolved- Thatasub-Conimitlee, consisting of the President, Vice-President, Dr Button, Mr Attfield, and tbo Secretary, be rppom'ed to airange for a fancy bazaar and gift auction. A vote of thanks to the chair concluded j the meeting.
