IN Pursuance of the 14th Section of the “Licensing Act 1873, Amendment Act, 1874,” I, hereby give notice that the QUARTERLY LICENSING MEETING For the District of Town of Clyde, and Districts of Clyde and Slacks, will be held on TUESDAY, the sth day of MARCH, 1878, in the Court House, Clyde, i at the hour of NOON; [Note. —Applications for Blacks must be lodged at Clyde.] For the District and Town of Alexandra, and District of Alexandra, will be held on TUESDAY, the sth day of MARCH, 1878, in the Court-house, Alexandra, at the.hour of NOON ; • For the Distriet of Town of II ox burgh, and District of Roxburgh, will be held on TUESDAY, the sth day of MARCH, 1878, in the Court House, Roxburgh, at the hour of NOON.; For the purpose of taking into consideraf on all Applications fur Certificates for such Licenses ns are authorised to be granted at the said meeting of the Licensing Court, and the Transfer, or Renewal, or Removal of Licenses,of which duo notice shall have been given to me, for the aforesaid Districts in which the premises in inspect of which such Application is made are situated respectively, A. PROOF having lean given to the Assessment Court for the Borough of Alexandra that failure has been made to prepare Valuation Lists of the rateable property in said Borough, within the time required by the Rating Act, 187G, I hereby notify that under the 28lh Section of the said Act, I' have appointed Valuers to prepare such Lists. That FRIDAY, the Bth February current, has been fixed for the completion of such Lists, and MONDAY, ihe 25 th February current, ns the day up to which the Lists will be open for public inspection at the Borough Council Offices, Alexandra, oh or before which last ■mentioned date all objections must be lodged at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Alexandra, and a copy of such objections must he lodged with the Clerk of the Borough Council seven days before the sitting (<f the Court [ the date of which wiO’be hereafter notified.
