Merry Kino out of “ Merrimac,” (said to be the best dam in the Province in her day) by “ Van Tromp,” imported by Mr M‘Pherson to Gipps Land. Merry King stands 16 hands high, is a bright chesnut and rising 8 years old, is possessed of great power and symmetry, and has proved a sure foal getter in the Oamani Tokomairiro and Teviot Districts.
