SANITARY STATE OF THE TOWN.

(TO THE EDITOR OF THE liUS’STAX TIMES.) Sir :—lii your last we dps issue you very wisely drew attention to the existence of nuisances in the Town, I fully concur in your remarks, and trust that some efforts will be used to suppress the same. Is there an inspector of Nuisances 1 should like to know, and if so, why does he not do his duty. If there is no Inspector, then it is quite time that one was appointed, and one ton, that would perform the duties .strictly. If there are any that have doubts as to the existence of any nuisance likely to cause the outbreak of fever, I would suggest to to them the necessity of making acquaintance with some few water-closets in the Town, which would I think he conclusive to the most sceptical. Yours, &c., Sufferer. Clyde, Feb. 20, 1877.
