Du.nedin*, April 25. Mullingars Rush has turned out a complete failure, one thousand men are returning to Cookstown. The girl Annie Thornhill who was injured by being trampled by a horse on Friday last is recovering. Drs Scott and Jackson have agreed that she was only suffering from a severe shock of the nervous system. The weather has been very bad these last few days, and snow has fallen on the ranges, but it has cleared up to-day. There is no difficulty in travelling. Traffic to the reefs is uninterrupted. Crushing operations have been suspended owing to the roads being too soft for the transport of quartz. The provincial Government are greatly to blame for neglect. All delays are attributable to them.
