Great floods and loss of life have taken place in Warwickshire, and the railways are badly damaged. Cholera is raging in Mysore, India. A great meeting has been held in Glasgow against Vaticanism. Gladstone wrote a sympathising letter. The City of Melbourne made the passage from San Francisco in twenty-two days three Stents.
