JEFFERY AND FRASER, while thanking the Public for the liberal patronage accorded them during the past two years, would intimate that they have added to their BREAD AND BISCUIT BUSINESS A Stock of GROCERIES, GENERAL PROVISIONS, DRAPERY, &c. ; and they trust by their supplying a Firstclass article at the lowest remunerative rates, combined with punctuality and civility, to merit a share of public support iu all tbeir branches of business. J. and F. would further intimate that they will now charge NINEPENCE for the FOUR-POUND LOAF, instead of a Shilling. The reason of the reduction is that they havo got their Business into proper working order, and tho fact that they are now in a position to buy large quantities of Flour from tho first hand. J. and F. would beg to assure tho public that this is not one of the usual squibs, or fluctuating reductions generally resorted to by opponent bakers in order to make the weaker party collapse, and thus have the field to themselves, but they have duly considered tho matter, and can conscientiously state that it sliall be a permanency.
