IN Pursuance of the 14th Section of the Licensing Acc, 1873, Amendment Act, 1874, I hereby give notice that the Quarterly LICENSING MEETING for the Town of Clyde, and Districts of Clyde, Alexandra, Roxburgh, and Blacks, will bo held on the First Tuesday of the month of March next, in the respective Court Bouses of each District at the hour of Noon, for the purposes of taking into consideration all Applications for Cer tificates for such Licenses as are authorised to be-granted at the said meetings of the Incensing Courts, and the Transfer, or Renewal, or Removal ot Licenses, of which due notice shall have been given to me, for the aforesaid Districts in which the premises in respect of which such Application is made are situated respectively. Applicants for Publicans’ Licenses must, twenty-one days before such meeting, deliver their applications to the Clerk of such Court at which the applications will he heard. OBJECTIONS having been lodged to the Application by P. M‘GETTIG AN to divert water from Coal Creek, Cairn Bill District, for irrigation and domestic purposes. The Application «nd Objections to - same will bo heard before the District Land Board on Thursday, 1 Sth February instant, at the Court House, Clyde. WILLIAM LAURENCE SIMPSON, District Land Officer. Nature of Objections: —1. That at season when water is most particularly required by Applicant, there is not sufficient water after all present rights are supplied. 2. That quantity of water applied for is too great for irrigation purposes. 3. That Applicant’s land is already irrigated by the Gorge Creek. LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE. "VTOTICE is Hereby Given, that the several parcels of Land hereinafter described will be brought under the Provisions of “ The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless caveat in the meantime be lodged forbidding the same:— Sections 30, 31, and part of Section 29, Block XXIII, Town of Clyde.
