DUNSTAN MIXERS’ ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the above Association, as convened by advcrtistnicnt was held in the Library Hall on Saturday evening last the 14th instant, to consider the subjects referred to'iu the letter from the central Association.
Mr Joseph Hastie occupied the chair, raid said the main business was the election of a delegate to represent the District Association at the Conference o{ delegates to be held at Clyde on Monday, March
After some discussion it was resolved, That Mr Thomas Syms be appointed delegate to represent the Dunslan district at the forthcoming Conference.
Resolved, That Mr V. Pyke, the conductor of rhe Southern Mercury ho thanked for his offer to make the columns of Ids paper the vehicle for disseminating the reports of each and alf'of the Miners’ Associations.
Resolved, That the meeting adjourn till Saturday the 21st instant, for the election oiofficers to the District Association. A vote of thanks to the Chair concluded the meeting.
