CLYDE SCHOOL.
A meeting ot the' Committee was held on Monday evening, the 2-lth insti, in the Public Library Hall. There were present: The Rev. Joshua Jones (in the chair), and Messrs. Wilson, M’CimnochidJ Gfipdley, Clark, Christophers,ft^d' J / -.il' The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirpied. ( . 'Hie Educational Board’s circular of the 15th o'f October, re orphans and destitute children, and letter of the 3rd of Novem* ber, were read and received. The Schdolrnastei’s report for October was read and, received. P.esnlved, That prizes to the value of sf. prime cost he awarded to the pupils at the elosj of the year,.and that the Bev. J. Jones and Mr. W. L. Simpson be appointed examiners. ( t ( Resolved, That the Chris f maa vacation extend for three weeks from the 19th of December next ■'* : Resolved. That the Rev. J. Jones, the ‘schoolmaster, and Messrs. Cambridge and M'Connoeliie be elected managers of the entertainment in aid of the prize and school funds, with power to fix a night and other details. After a vote of thanks to the Chairman the meeting adjourned,
