A branch of the Ancient Order of ■Foresters was opened here on Wednesday evening last by D.S.C.B. Brother Robert Stephenson, of Court Pride of Dunedin ; P.D.C.R. Brother F. J. Wilson, of Clyde; and P C.R. Brother Coop, Court Pride of Dunstan. After closing, the member adjourned to Ormond’s Hotel, where they spent a pleasant hour or two in conviviality and harmony. The party broke up at an early hour. The weather was very unpropitious for the season.
