In moving the secod reading of this Dill in the House of Representatives, Mr. Macandrew said its object was to enable the Municipal Cor poration off Clyde to borrow a very modest sum, not exceeding 8 ( OQZ., for tire purpose of erecting a bridge across the Mo’yneux. The Bill was read a second and third time. In the Legislative Council tits Bill was thrown out on tlr„ motion of the Honorable Mr. Sewell.
