Application of Messrs.Compbell and Low for 50 acias of land on Bun 220, Galloway Station. Granted. Same for 100 acres on Bun 250 in Little Valley—there dicing no objections, the survey was ordered to be made. Same for 610 acres on Run 2d I at Blacks No. 2. Objections having been lodged by miners in the neighborhood, the hearing was postponed till Wednesday 24th September on the ground. Application of J. D. Feraud, on behalf of R. H; Leary, Trustee in the estate of J. D. Feraud, for leave to construct a water race from the Wai Ceri Keri Valley to Monte Christo Farm, was refused. The Board saying they could not think of creating a further right to water from a source that does not already supp'y existing rights Mr. Feraud conducted his case with no small amount of ability, and handled the witnesses (about a dozen) with judgment—tlie gist of the evidence so often before the public that wo offer that as an excuse for not now publishing it.
