DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB.

At a meeting of the members of the Dunstan Jockey Club bebl on Wednesday, the 13th instant, there were present, Mesrs. W. Fraser, James Hazlctt, W. Grindley, William Fames, John Cox, A. It. B. Thomson, and Samuel Welsford. Mr. W. Fraser in the Chair. The following gentlemen were elected officers for the present year Mr. W. Fraser, President, James Haz lett. Vice President, A. Christophers, Treasurer Stewards—Messrs. W. Grindley, J. G. G. Glassford, William Fames, John Cox, A. R. B. Thomson, and W. Laurence Simpson. The following was the business transacted : The disqualification of Robert Reay was discussed, and the following motion was carried.— That Robert Reay shall be disqualified from riding or running any horse on the Dunstan Race Course from this date. Proposed and carried That the Spring Meeting take place on Friday, September 2G, and the programme to bo advertised in the “ Dunstan Times,” of the 22nd of August. Mr. J. P. Davidson was elected a member of the Club. The Secretary was instructed to communicate with the Tuapeka Club, relative to Rcay’s disqualification. Messrs. Fames and Cox were appointed to collect subscriptions for the coming Spring Meeting, and Messrs. Hazlett and | Welsford to get the Course, Ac,, put in ! proper order. !
