(FROM A CORRESPONDENT.) A great number of people are led away with the foolish idea that the Nevis, at all seasons of tho year is a col I miserable isolated spot. Mr. D. Scally, of the Shamrock-hotel, had the booth, and I do assure you, supplied the wants and cravings of the inner man right cheorly. Tho renowned Sargeant, to the surprise of almost every person present, did not figure amongst the crowd, and 1 do assure him his absence from the Nevis Race-meet-ing, has made him more popular and respected iu that district. They are more eminently adapted to tho internal and external failings of the human orginization than any two medicines that lave yet been discovered.
