CLYDE SCHOOL.

A Meotiru: of the School Comraitto was belli in the Public Library on Finlay the 28th at 7 p.m. Present Rev. J. Jones, and Messrs Wilson, Hazlott, M‘Connochic, Grindley Christophers and Cambridge. Mr. Hazlett occupied the Chair, Mr. A. Christophers was eleetad dork and Treasurer. Appointment to date from 13th, January last. The >n an I outward correspondence were read, received, and adopted. Mr. Christophers said the application for 25/ for sewing Mistress, had been referred to the inspector of School for his report. The Schoolmaster’s reports for January and February were read and received. T. Webbs account for 1/ 19s, for cleaning schoolroom was passed for payment Resolved. That in addition to the present rule regarding School fees, it is advisable t > adopt quarterly payments, and that Messrs Wilson, M’Connochic and Christophers be appointed a sub-comrcitee to prepare a scale allowing a reduction for quarterly payment made in advance. Resolved That class books as per Masters requisition be purchased, and that the Master be requested to sell them to the pupils at a priijs sufficient to cover original cost, and expenses.
