(to the editor of the dunstan times.' vSir, — I enclose you copy of a letter sent by me to the Weliinyton Independent, the receipt of which has been acknowledged iu a late issue. lam not surprised at being attacked in a cowardly manner by a contemptible rag like the Independent , nor that you should have republished such attack. Sir, —Having read your impertinent paragraph in a late issue of your paper reflecting on myself, and observing your deep grief at having been put to the expense of three shillings on my account, I enclose you that sum in postage stamps. I am afraid the writer of the paragraph is suffering from water on the brain, in consequence of his arduous (?) .duties in connection with Water Supply on the Goldfields. , Yours, &c., T. L.
