It may he noticed that the valuable trees on the School reserve are fast withering. This is owing eiiher to the scant supply of water turned into the race, or its injudicious use in gardens nearer the township. For weeks past the supply of water reaching the schoolmaster’s residence has been barely sufficient fur domestic purposes. The return of gold for the month of November, reports the Bendigo Advertiser, is a li tie belter than that for October, being 23,4710z. 4d\vt. 13gr., giving an average of S,SGBoz. per week, while the return fur October w s 22, (i-13oz. 19dwt. 2gr., or a weekly average of o.CCloz. pier week. The yield oi gold continues to he most satisfactory.
