HEATHER JOCK has taken first and second prizes as a colt of one, two, anti three years old in Victoria, Sire Reformer, who gained the Highland Society’s first prize at 1 Perth in 1552; as a yearling, in 1856, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers’ So I ciety’s first prize, beating Clyde (Mr. J. | Wilson’s and four other imported sires ;in I 1857, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip i Farmers’ Society’s first prize, beating Clyde and 25 others; at the same meeting won the Champion Cup, va'ue £3O, as the most perfect animal exhibited. He has also taken a number of local prizes, and his stock have been successful as prize -takers, Dam, Flora, got by the renowned horse Prince Charlie, imported by Messrs. M ‘lutosh. Glenroy, out of a pure bred V.D.L. mare bred”ny E. Q. Kermode, Mona Vale. Flora took first prize at Whitlesea two years in succession, first at Kilmore and second at Heidelberg in 1861.
