HEATHER JOCK is a beautiful dark bay horse, 17 hands high, «f immense bone, fine symmetry, and superior action, was got y the far-famed horse Reformer, im ported by C. Rossiter. Esq., Cronbourne, and out of the celebrated mare Flora, the property of J. Johnston, Esq., Whitlesea, Victoria. HEATHER JOCK has taken first and second prizes as a colt of one, two, and three years old in Victoria, Sire Reformer, who gained the Highland Society’s first prize at Perth in 1552; as a yearling, in 1856, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers’ So ciety’s first prize, beating Clyde (Mr. J. Wilson’s and four ether imported sires ; in 1857, at Melbourne, the Port Phillip Farmers’ Society’s first prize, beating Clyde and 25 others; at the same meeting won the Champion Cup, va’ue £3O, as the most perfect animal exhibited. He has also taken a number of local prizes, and his stock have been successful as prize -takers, Dam, Flora, got by the renowned horse Prince Charlie, imported by Messrs. M'lntosh. Glenroy, out of a pure bred V.D.L. mare bredjoy R. Q. Kermode, Mona Vale. Flora took first prize at Whitlesea two years in succession, first at Kilmore and secom. at Heidelberg in 1861. Terms : £4, payable on or before the Ist of January, 1871. Groom’s Fee 55., pay able on first service. A Clover Paddock of twenty acres p-o----vided for mares, free of charge.
