The following advantages are secured by special provisions in the abovementioned Acts;— ■l. Up to aoffi-tapr amount, assurance effected by the asm(re(jyr/)or//nb own life, and onflow memt j/ltcies and annuities purchase/ifor the benefit of wife or children, are exempted from the operation of Bankruptcy Acts and from seizure under legal process. - 2. Up to a certain, amount, married women may effect policies, and dispose of the money assured by will, as if single; and such policies are free from the debts and control of their husbands. 3. Insurances may bo effected for the benefit of wife and chil- ; dren, with, power to apportion amount, and such insurance is to 4 be free from the of creditors to of £2,000.
