DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB.
A meeting of the Committee was held at the Port Phillip Hotel, on Saturday evening last, the 29th ult. There were psesent, W. Fraser, Esq., President, James Hazlett Esq., Vice President, A Christophers, Hon. Treasurer, and Messrs R. M‘Morran and S. Wellsford. The minutes of the previous meeting were real an 1 confirmed. The following accounts were passed for payment—William Williams, 10s., W. Insley, 10s., “ Dunstan Times, ” £4 95., J. U. Cambridge, 18s. lid., “Daily Times’’ 12s. 6d.. W. Duffy, £5 10s., aud J. Hazlett 6s, 6d. Proposed by Mr. James Hazlett. seconded bv Mr. S. Welsford:—That Messrs. A. R. B. Thomson, and W. Orindley be appointed to act as two out of three Handicappers, for the forthcoming Annual R ices. and that they be requested to, select a third—carried. It was resolved on the motion of Mr. J. Hazlett, seconded by Mr. R. M'Morran;— That the President, VieePresi ent, and the Hon., Treasurer be appointed a sub committee to select and purchase a cup, for the Ladies Purse The next meeting of the Committee was appointed to take place on Saturday the 13‘h of December i-ext A vote of thanks to the Chairman concluded the meeting. The meeting close I with th ■ usual vote ot thinks.
