DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB

A meeting of the Committee wan held at the Port Phillip Hotel on Saturday evening last, when the following gentlemen were present:—Messrs. W. Fraser (President, in the chair), J. Hazlett (Vice-Presi-dent), Christophers (Treasurer), Thomson, Welsford, Grindley, and R. Barlow (Secretary). The minutes of the last meeting were read and conlirmed. The Sub-Committee appointed to have the Course put in order reported that contracts had baon entared into, anti that everything would be in readiness. The Collector reported progress. The Treasurer reported progress, and stated that the right to occupy the Grand Stand during the ensuing meeting had bean sold by public auction, for the sum of £l7, and that the horse paddock produced 30s. Resolved, That the first race on the programme start precisely at half-past one o’clock, and that the entries close on the course at one o’clock sharp.
