WHEREAS, on the morning of the Ist instant, the Police Station at Clyde was Broken Into, and Treasure to the amount of Thirteen Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventyone Pounds (£13,971) stolen therefrom, consisting of Gold, value Seven Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventyone Pounds (£7,871); Bank Notes, the numbers of which are known, Six Thousand One Hundred and Ten Pounds (£'6,110). It is hereby notified that A Reward of FIVE HUNDRED POUNDS Will be Paid +o any Person or Pei-sons who shall give such Information as may lead to the conviction of the offender or offenders and the recovery of the Stolen Property, .. It is Further Notified that His Excellency the GovernorOffers A FREE PARDON In the event of the person giving such Information being An Accomplice in the Robbery. W. A. TOLMIE, Deputy Superintendent.
