Shaw v. Hinehcliffe. - Claim £lO. Judg incut for amount and £2 10s. costs.

Kennedy v. Morrissey,—Debt. Settled out of Court.

Harnett v. H‘Arthur.—Assault, damages £SO. This action arose through a dispute as to the boundary of the farms of the litigants in the Wai Keri Ken Va'ley. Sir. Brough appeared for the plaintiff, while the defendant was represented by Mr. W. L. Bailey. After evidence on both sides had been heard, the plaintiff’s council stated there was no wish to press for full damages, the action having been brought with a view to deter dcfendenc from taking the law into his own hands. Verdict for plaintiff, £5 and £2 10.S. costs of Court. Mr. Hazlcfct immediately handed over the amount of the verdict to the Dunstan Hospital. WARDEN’S COURT. (Before V. Pyke, Esq., Warden.) Several applications for protection of claims on the Serpentine were made. No other business was transacted of sufficient public interest to call for a report.
